Pyjamas and Sleepwear: Oh, so Many Gorgeous Choices!

There are people who will spend their day in beautiful, well tailored clothing and look like they have just breezed from a fashion magazine’s pages. They would never think to show up anywhere with a hair out of place or the wrong shoes on. They have standards, very, very high standards that they will uphold and adhere to at all costs. Now, what do you think those very same people wear to bed to sleep in each night?

Then there are the people who look like they spend an hour on the outside of the car and that they found the clothing they have on just before that hour. Disheveled, bedraggled and just a little forlorn, they often don’t appear to have any major standards that they have set nor do they really look like they care at all. And, if you are looking at them correctly, you do believe that they are wearing two different shoes at this moment! Now, what do these ones wear to bed?

Everyone has different tastes for pyjamas and sleepwear and you might be shocked to find the slob and the snob, the rude guy and the well mannered guy or the frumpy girl and the attractive flirt down the block all wearing similar pyjamas and other sleepwear choices. After all, even the people who are outright slobs during the daytime may actually care what their bedmate thinks of them while they care less about what strangers think.

For those who care about what they are sleeping in, there are so many choices from soft brushed cotton pyjamas to silk negligees and everything in between that you might be confused and overwhelmed. There is every single color you can imagine and every kind of trim and accoutrements as well. And while it may completely mortify the really classy among us, there are even pyjamas and sleepwear for the various holidays, with little scenes and special color schemes for them.

For some people, it is one style and one style only for their pyjamas. For other people, it its something a little more creative every night. It is like a veritable fashion show at their home every night because they probably don’t even know what they will be wearing when they come to bed. It doesn’t matter if you are wearing the same pin striped, button down pyjamas every night or if you are wearing something different- ask yourself this: if your clothes define your style during the day, does your sleepwear define your sleep at night?
